A bit about me:
My interest in mental health and wellbeing goes back as far as I can remember and I began working in the field in 2002. But it wasn’t until 2007 when I undertook a year-long training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, that I began to experience how the mind, nervous system and physical body are all interconnected. From there I studied Mind-Body Medicine, Somatic Psychotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma of Counselling. I genuinely consider counselling and psychotherapy to be one of the best support structures that there is, and am inspired when I see how far people can come when they have the right support.

On a personal note: Psychotherapy and counselling is really what I am most passionate about, but I also like to spend time in nature, as well as with friends, family, good food and my pets. I enjoy yoga and qi gong, gardening and cycling, as well as various forms of creative expression. I’ve had significant life experience, and have overcome some major challenges of my own.
